Swindon Consultant Anaesthetists
Who we are
We are a group of consultant doctors working in the independent sector in the Swindon area. We mainly work at the Shalbourne Suite at the Great Western Hospital, and at BMI the Ridgeway Hospital.
We all hold NHS consultant appointments at the Great Western Hospital. We have completed specialist training, and are fully accredited in our field. We undergo regular and rigorous appraisal within the NHS to ensure that we keep our knowledge and skills up to date.
We choose to work together to provide anaesthetic services because this allows us to share our expertise, and to provide round-the-clock private anaesthetic cover without compromising care in the local NHS.
We are all approved by BUPA.
